We recently had the pleasure of working on a custom home project for a client who was building their dream home in the neighborhood where they grew up. The client wanted to be close to family and needed a home that would work for their growing family. The design paid tribute to the classic four-square style of many Portland homes, while incorporating modern features to meet the client's needs.

The client was passionate about using beautiful finishes to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in their home. This included hickory floors, custom cabinetry, classic trimwork, a copper island countertop, and custom tile. The attention to detail was evident throughout the home, from the intricate tile work in the kitchen to the custom millwork in the bedrooms.

One unique feature of the home was the inclusion of an ADU in place of a garage. The client recognized the potential of this space and wanted to use it for guest space, to rent out, and for their children as they grew up. This addition added versatility to the home and provided ample living space for the family.

The client was thrilled with the final product, and we were honored to have been a part of such a meaningful project. The home was not only beautiful but also functional, allowing the family to create memories and grow together in a space that truly felt like home.
