The Client Experience

"exceeded our expectations"

The experience exceeded our expectations from our first call to the completion of the remodel. We were given an exact schedule of work to be done each day and we were introduced to the Remodeling Superintendent for our job. He explained that the firm selects employees to oversee jobs in which they have the most experience. He personally, with the help of assistants, performed all the tile work. Each day he informed us of work to be done the next day. He visited the job when sub contractors, a plumber and a glass installer, and informed them of work to be done and later inspected to make sure it was done to our satisfaction. He worked closely with us throughout and was always available to us by phone, if we had questions. He spent a lot of extra time bringing us various shower heads to try as the one we first selected was unsuitable. We are extremely pleased with the wonderful work that was done, which included removing a bath tub, tiled walls surrounding 2 sides of it, down too studs, and building walk in shower with walls tiled to the ceiling. plumbing was changed to accept a hand held, adjustable height, shower and a built in tiled seat and safety bars were installed. We highly recommend Lamont Brothers.

"premium quality for a reasonable price"

We hired Lamont Bros to remodel two adjoining bathrooms in our older house. We had an initial idea of what we wanted and their designer did an excellent job helping us to refine our concept. He steered us to a good choice for the walk-in shower door and helped with numerous smaller details.

The work crew was skillful, prompt, polite and friendly. Their work was excellent quality - even the smallest details. They cleaned up their work area each day and were considerate around our two cats. They found a small chip in our imported porcelain sink and arranged for a replacement without affecting the remodel schedule. The new bathrooms and extensive plumbing upgrades were completed on-time and on-budget.

We would certainly hire Lamont again. They offer premium quality for a reasonable price.

"No one else will work on my home but these guys"

They were AWESOME!!!!! Joseph the designer co-owner had terrific ideas about tiles and colors and I was thrilled with how the bathroom came out. They also had to order and install a custom railing for my kitchen, which just came out so cool. They work on my house as if it is their own. All their crews are respectful, professional and good natured. David - the other co-owner does all the project management and he is just terrific. They even allowed me to add a significant amount of painting and still got it done on time. No one else will work on my home but these guys!!!

"communication was timely and thorough"

Lamont completed a full kitchen remodel for us last fall. We purchased a home on a rehab loan and they did a great job of dealing with all of the paperwork headaches that went along with that type of loan. I had a pretty clear idea about what I wanted and they did a good job of executing the vision. Once they got started the work was completed on time and on budget - what more can you ask? Communication was timely and thorough. I would definitely use them again for a large project.

"they went above and beyond"

We needed flooring replaced in a home we purchased. The timing was difficult with closing dates and moving dates, but Lamont Bros. worked with us to make it all work. I love the flooring that Joseph recommended!  It really makes the atmosphere of the whole house. I appreciate the work crew - they went above & beyond, even pointing out a leak in the dishwasher that had not been seen before. Thank you, Lamont Bros!!

Collaborating with Joseph Patrick of Lamont Bros. Construction is always a joy, and also an extremely productive and respectful experience. In our most recent client collaboration, working together using Joseph’s design drawings showing already well-thought out solutions, I offered up new ideas about furniture layouts and other considerations. Joseph, the clients and I walked through the space, talking and brainstorming and finally landed on awesome solutions, as a team. Joseph was receptive and supportive of my role in the project as design consultant, by offering feasibility feedback to ideas in the moment, enabling us to make a few key decisions in under 2 hours. "nothing but good words"

Lamont Brothers did a major 2 story addition/remodel job for us last summer, and we could not be happier with the work that they did. We had a second floor room added, one other second floor room expanded and a closet added, a roughed in bathroom added, a main floor bedroom expanded and the main floor layout completely changed, including a full bathroom remodel. Opening up an older house is always difficult, and complicating the work was the fact that we lived in the house for most of the construction (only around 400 sq ft of the house was not being touched by the project)- which meant that most of the construction was happening with my wife and 6 young children around the construction site. Not only did the workers keep my family safe, the guys actually took time to explain the work to my incredibly curious kids and on a few occasions let them take part in some of the activities (all safe, age appropriate, and with our consent, of course). By the end of the project, the workers felt like family members. Major remodels are always full of issues and we encountered our fair share of them, but the company always worked hard to provide a resolution that we felt was fair, or more often than not actually in our favor. We look forward to having them back to complete additional projects (kitchen and bathroom remodels) in the future. We've got nothing but good words about these guys.

"couldn't be happier with the results"

The Lamont Bros. took on two major projects at our home: remodeling our master bathroom and replacing our very awkward spiral staircase with a set of safe, functional straight stairs. Both projects turned out beautifully and we couldn't be happier with the results. Joseph and David Patrick were quick to respond to our requests and any questions or concerns that we had were addressed in a calm and solution-based manner. We were particularly impressed with their crew of workers. They were all very respectful, courteous, and professional and the results of their work far exceeded our expectations. We have worked with multiple contractors over the years on other projects and this has been our best experience to date. My wife and I highly recommend the Lamont Bros. for any of your construction needs

"extremely happy"

We are thrilled! The work is above our expectations! We are extremely happy with both the quality of work as well as the processes Lamont had in place to accomplish our goals. All employees and workers were friendly and polite, communicated effectively, were here on time, and conveyed the status of the job at all times. The project supervisor and his crew had the materials and supplies delivered on time, followed the design to the detail, and scheduled plumbing and electrical without delay, making the whole project run very smoothly. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed immediately, and this responsiveness added to an already positive experience. One additional comment: two items were complicated--having the ceiling patch match the rest of the ceiling, and building an aesthetically pleasing access door through the tile to the tub drain. Both were completed, without a doubt, thoughtfully and artistically. We couldn't be happier, and if we ever have another remodel or construction project, we will call Lamont Bros.

We were very pleased with Lamont Brothers. From the initial design assistance provided by owner, Joseph Lamont, to all phases of the remodel process supervised by owner, David Lamont, we were extremely impressed with their team of professionals and outstanding craftsmanship.
