CHALLENGE
Severe wood floor issues
Wanted to save old growth fir flooring
Needed to modernize but not sacrifice charm of 100+ year old home
Solution
We determined we could save the old growth Fir flooring. In order to minimize blemishes, we used a high-quality boat deck paint to hide. That allowed us to keep the original flooring and add a unique color and texture that really stands out in this kitchen.
The end product resulted in a mix of old and new, maintaining the existing charm of the space while adding contemporary features.
